- What one thought stuck out to you in this week’s video? Why did it stand out?
- What one thought stuck out to you from this week’s chapter? Why did it stand out?
- Question 29, page 202: Write a brief praise for an answered prayer using the four thanksgiving song elements.
- Question 45, page 209: Write a brief praise for something you’ve learned from the psalms using the four thanksgiving song elements.
1) Praying the psalms builds hope! That’s great news.
.
2) I like the four elements of thanksgiving songs: preliminary praise, divine description, dilemma and deliverance, and praise proclamation.
.
3) I will extol you, O Lord, for you show yourself to those who seek you. I was lost in darkness, seeing in Jesus my dad’s sins, but when I told God my fears, Jesus saved me.
.
4) Praise the Lord! Jesus is the Almighty King who will rule forever. This earth flows with injustice, but Jesus is coming back and he will bring justice, right wrongs, and take us to the new heaven and earth. Praise the Lord!
Thanks for writing the Bible study on the Psalms. For the creative part I created a playlist with a reading of each Psalm & a song related to each one. https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/psalms/pl.u-d2b0k3XIMybBEbA
